My main interests lie in conservation genetics, habitat restoration, and biodiversity, especially in at-risk species.

As an undergraduate in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology at UC Davis, I have been able to work on a western bluebird diet study that looks at the influence of habitat variables on the reproductive success of nestlings. I have also had the chance to dive into the genetic research and conservation of various maize lines and the evolutionary analyses that go along with it.

In the future, I hope to hone my interests into studies on endangered mammal species and use various genetic techniques to inform conservation.
