GVL Principles of Community

The GVL prides itself on being a community that welcomes undergraduate and graduate students and postdocs from all walks of life to join us in our efforts to advance the conservation and management of fish and wildlife populations! Specifically, we 1) consistently provide salary support for our students, 2) support student and postdoc participation in conferences and other professional development opportunities, and 3) provide paid undergraduate internship opportunities. Director Andrea Schreier is on the Animal Science Department Principles of Community committee which strives to create a welcoming environment for all.
